Emma Watson Wows In Beauty And The Beast Trailer

Back in April of this year, Disney released a live action CGI retelling of the classic Jungle Book movie. The movie was critically acclaimed and the success of the Jungle Book has prompted Disney to continue making live action remakes of classic animated films. Aladdin and Mulan are both confirmed to be in the works. For now, Disney is bringing Beauty and the Beast back to the big screen. The story is basically in the same vein as the original movie. After kidnapping Belle’s father (played by Kevin Kline), Belle stumbles onto the Beast and along with sentient dinnerware and cutlery and discovers that the Beast may not be as evil as he seems. Meanwhile, Gaston riles up the townspeople to kill the Beast.

The first trailer was released a few days ago that showed off Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, and Luke Evans as Gaston. The movie has been in development since 2014 and sees an anticipated release date of March 17, 2017.
