Why Amazon HQ2 Should Choose Boston

Amazon HQ2 created a bidding war among 238 areas from regions in the United States extended to Canada. The remaining cities to make the cut for HQ2 feature notable cities like Boston, Massachusetts. Although most areas have spectacular offerings, none of them are like Boston. The region values Amazon’s priority on logistics, the city holds an advanced transportation infrastructure as well as a pipeline to link other major cities on the East Coast. The region is an ideal location for Amazon to accommodate.
Boston or in other names, the Beantown withholds a high standard of excellence. Massachusetts holds a title for a world-class high education, they accommodate 75 institutions with a collective enrollment of 300,000 students. The state proudly represents their world class researchers, engineers, and scientists from Boston University, Boston College, Harvard University, MIT, and Northeastern University. The city offers professionals from the most pristine universities to help grow Amazon. This commitment expresses Boston as an ideal location for another Amazon HQ.

The innovative tech company seeks an existing building of at least 500,000 square feet and total site space of about 8 million square feet. The location of the site is ideally within 30 miles of a population center and within about 45 minutes of an international airport. Location and logistics are a priority to Amazon, so there is a requirement access to mass transit, train, subways, or a bus. This is not an issue for the advanced city of Boston. Boston is the absolute ideal location for another Amazon HQ.
The building will be placed on a 500,000 square-foot-building with an option for a second building of the same size in the planned Seaport Square development. The headquarter may be potentially located within the urban area of East Boston and Revere, the unique 161-acre Suffolk. Their community is a thriving and healthy environment for Amazon and their workers.
There is an additional offer to partner with a local university for programs catered for Amazon’s workforce, similar to Washington’s concept but more broad. The most appealing proposal for any business is the offer on ‘Amazon Task Force’ in their 109-page bid where the interest of the tech-company is fully protected in the city by Boston employees. This is an opportunity no business can miss out on.
