The Dapper Goose Takes On Buffalo

There is a rise in the restaurant scene in Buffalo, NY, but one place stands out in particular, The Dapper Goose. You are transported into a French, modern cottage with a tin ceiling and custom black walnut countertop bar. For further surprise, there is a koi pond out back. Speaking with Keith Raimondi, it is safe to say that it is not only the delicious food that drives you to The Dapper Goose, but the atmosphere as well. “It is a place where people can come to feel comfortable, eat and drink however they want, and be able to choose their way of enjoying their food.” Having such a unique approach to New American styled food is surprising, especially considering how much thought goes into every dish. The style of food and drinks will always be evolving. The menu is incredible, filled with seasonal ingredients that will change every so often, so you will be able to try something new every time. You can expect everything to be made from scratch, from fresh squeezed juice to housemade pickles. Cocktails, wines, and liquors will be of the utmost quality, with the bar managed by Tim Leary.

Like their name, you can expect the atmosphere to be fun, easy-going and a great place to hang out. The staff calls themselves “Goose Mafia”, and they are a well-rounded team of individuals with years of experience under their belt. They come from different backgrounds, but together, created something beautiful in Buffalo. Keith is a native, and wanted to return home to do things a different way, Goose Mafia’s way. Keith believes the town of Buffalo is underrated and has much potential for growth in the restaurant industry, and will pave the way for many restaurants to come. You can tell from The Dapper Goose’s Instagram that they are more than just people that work together, they are a family that truly loves food, and wants to spread their beliefs wherever they go. Once you experience the culture that The Dapper Goose has, it is hard not to go back.

Their grand opening is on Friday, September 2nd, and many are anxiously waiting to walk through those doors. Goose Mafia has developed the restaurant from the ground up and a wonderful culture has bloomed from what was once a dream. With a group of people that share the same beliefs and vision, you can expect a well-rounded team that with their skills combined, will create the best dishes while making you feel at home.
