Opkix One Review

With the existence of smartphones and its built-in cameras, you might think it’s useless to get another video recorder. However, you will never know the benefits of smaller video cameras unless there is a need for it. For example, you want to skydive or maybe you and your friends go on a beach trip.

You would rather have both of your hands useful and just have a smaller camera to record fun memories, wouldn’t you? At first, we were hesitant to try out OPKIX One and conduct a review. Like most of you, we felt that it was a waste of money. But after a month of using the product, the product’s features and benefits changed our minds. What Can We Say About OPKIX One? 

Here are some of our thoughts about the device. Take note that our review might be different from others considering the activities we used the camera for, the length of time, and our perspectives. 

Design 

OPKIX One is compact, which makes it very convenient to bring around. You can even use it as a necklace and it should blend to whatever clothes you are wearing. This allows you to move around and enjoy while recording your day. The design appeals to the younger generation but we believe that everyone will appreciate this device.

Since you can attach it to your eyeglasses or to your hat, you can free your hands and maximize every event.  

Weight  

The weight of OPKIX One is barely noticeable – approximately 12 grams. It’s extremely convenient most especially if you are traveling as it will not take space in your luggage. But you have to be more careful though as it is easy to misplace considering its small size.  

Durability 

According to the manufacturer, OPKIX One is water-resistant to up to 30 feet and is dust-resistant as well. This makes it an ideal gadget if you are an adventurer. However, we cannot say that it is highly durable since we only used it for a limited time. We can only consider a product durable if we are consistently on the move and doing intense activities for several months.  

Ease of Use 

Using it is a breeze too. With just one click, you can already start recording. Even teens or kids can handle it. 

Video Resolution 

Quite frankly, the resolution isn’t topnotch. You can still get better quality from a GoPro or from a smartphone. Yet again, it is decent enough to take videos for your social media needs. 

Microphone

What’s a video without sounds, right? With OPKIX One, there is a built-in omnidirectional microphone that can also record the audio when you are shooting. 

Capacity 

Each camera can hold or store 15 minutes of video which we believe is too short. This means you will have to carefully select the times that you will turn on your recorder. Otherwise, you will get useless footage. 

File Transfer

You can also seamlessly transfer your files using the ‘Egg’. All you have to do is to pair it with your smart device and you can send your videos right away. 

OPKIX Studio App  

Most of us do not upload or share raw videos online. At the least we want it to have minor edits including additional texts and sound effects. With OPKIX Studio App, you can do all of these and more. It makes editing more efficient and this will sit well if you are serious in creating video content. 

Accessories 

There are accessories that you can also purchase if you want to maximize the benefits of an OPKIX One. You can get eyewear, a necklace, a hat with a magnetic mount, a ring, and a selfie stick. These are all affordable and highly functional. 

Where Can You Use OPKIX One? 

There are different events where you can use your OPKIX One. We’ll list some of those and you can probably think of more:

What Could Be Improved? 

Of course, we are not saying that it’s the perfect video recorder. The quality can be improved, the length could be longer, and there should be an option to live stream. After all, the social media game is changing really fast.

Our verdict is a resounding YES! OPKIX One is life-changing. In a world where we always hold our smartphones and capture every moment, we often forget to be in the moment. But with this small video recorder, you can enjoy every second while immortalizing the same. It’s useful, convenient, and reasonably priced. You better place your orders now because we bet that stocks will be limited given the high demand.
