We all get into bad moods from time to time. In most instances, it is easy to snap out of it when we know what is causing it. Bad moods can affect work, relationships, and complicate problems. Here are common causes of a bad mood and how you can get over it.

Guilt

Forgetting somebody’s birthday, neglecting an errand, or hurting somebody can cause guilty feelings, which do not go away even after apologizing. The best way to get rid of your guilty feeling is to atone for it. For example, send a belated birthday card or volunteer to do a new errand.

Rejection

Rejection can sting, no matter how small. Even if you don’t know the reason for being rejected, it can still hurt. To get over it, it is best to not take things personally.
