What should you do first?
Think of it as an actual job interview. To win the favor of Favor, you need to take a video of yourself, persuading them that you’re the best person to eat tacos for a whole month. They’re looking for a content creator who loves sharing their experience with the public. Make sure that you publish your video on Tiktok or Instagram with the hashtag #FavorDreamJob. Once done, you have to fill out their application form, and you’ll be notified if you’re a finalist.
Other qualifications
Aside from sharing your love of food on social media platforms, you must also be an adventurous eater. After all, you’ll get to try different tacos in Texas. You don’t need to have a food critiquing column in a newspaper or a food blog. So long as you love trying different food, you’re already qualified.
However, here’s one heartbreaking detail for non-Texans. Unfortunately, this position is for a Texas resident over 21. But if you live outside of Texas and are visiting the Lone Star State, you can download the Favor app in the future once the Chief Taco Officer has fulfilled their duties. At least you’ll know you’re in for a treat when you’re craving tacos while in the state.
What should you expect as the once-in-a-lifetime Chief Taco Officer?
You get to drive around Texas for the entire month (June 2022 until July 31, 2022) and sightsee alongside tasting those tasty tacos. You can invite friends along or shop around the whole month of your tenure. Basically, they’re asking you to have fun while fulfilling your role.
Favor asks you to eat different tacos in the state for any two meals in the day. If you really love it, you can eat it 3x as much during the day. Moreover, it’s important that you document every time you have a taste test of tacos. But, what does the Favor team need from you?

Favor Delivery is a food delivery app in Texas. They cover delivery areas in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Houston. They also deliver to El Paso, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and other major cities in the state.
Is Favor available in other states? Currently no. But they are planning on expanding their delivery areas in Texas first.
