Demi Lovato Sings To A Ghost. Because Trauma.

A clip from Demi Lovato’s new docu-series, Unidentified With Demi Lovato, shows the ever-traumatized singer serenading a ghost named Carmen. Why? Because Lovato has no talent, a craving for attention, and bills to pay. Why not? 

Lovato, teaming up with two idiots, visits a “haunted” spot in Venture City, Arizona. The team, with obviously nothing productive to do with their time, set up an EMF and get to … *sigh* … talking to ghosts. 

“Have you seen anything like ETs here or UFOs? Star people?”

The device beeps. SpOoOoOoOky. 

Things take a left turn when one of the idiots wonders whether or not their male presence is what’s affecting the answers. 

Sure, Jan. 

Lovato, always eager to jump on the Trauma Train, agrees. She asks:

“Did you not want to say anything else because the boys were in here?”

The device beeps. 

“I think – Oh, I get that a lot. She has trauma. That’s why she doesn’t like men. I have trauma, too, so I feel you and I get it.” 

Demi Lovato, the world’s expert on trauma with all her experience as an entertainer, diagnoses the … *sigh*… ghost… with trauma. 

“Well, I always sing “Skyscraper” when I feel like singing something emotional.” 

The device beeps. Carmen likes Skyscraper too. 

So, Demi Lovato sings away, serenading a traumatized ghost named Carmen who hates men. When she finishes, the device beeps. 

Pretty responsive ghost. Who knew that ghosts could be so chatty? And with Demi Lovato nonetheless? 

“That’s the coolest standing ovation I’ve ever had.”
