Valentine’s Day may be on a Monday this year, but you can bet that couples will be celebrating the Hallmark holiday this weekend. Happy Valentine’s Day, lovers.

Love Park

Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19102, in between 15th and 16th

You knew this was coming. So, let’s just get it out of the way, shall we? Love Park may be a little on the nose, but why wouldn’t you want to celebrate your love with a cheesy photo underneath Robert Indiana’s famous LOVE sculpture? No couple is too cool to pose at Love Park.

The Love.

130 S 18th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103

Again, a little on the nose, but this is for sure a spot you want to take your loved one. The Love. is one of Philly’s finest restaurants and for good reason. Are you original for taking your date to a restaurant called The Love. on Valentine’s Day? No. Does it matter? Of course not. The food is bangin.

Spruce Street Harbor Park

301 S Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Grab a beer, take a lie down in a hammock, and gaze at the pretty lights with your favorite snuggle buddy. It’s hard to imagine a spot more romantic than this on Valentine’s Day.

Wait… it’s only open from May 26 to September 26? It’s in the dead of winter? Nevermind. Don’t go.

Something with Puppies?

A Place Where Puppies Are?

Playing with puppies, now THAT’S a Valentine’s Day date. One of the sweetest ways to bond with your significant other is to play with these adorable little rascals. It doesn’t matter where you find them. Puppies, man. Puppies.

Boathouse Row

1 Boathouse Row, Philadelphia, PA 19130

One of Philly’s most iconic spots its also one of its most romantic. A stroll down the boathouses is a great way to spend time with someone you love. You can even set up a cute, little picnic for yourselves on the water. It’s simple, it’s beautiful, it’s completely free of charge.

Do you know of any romantic spots in Philly that are not on this list? Sure you do. This list is pitiful. Comment below with your favorite romantic spots and have a happy and safe Valentine’s Day!
